Little girl, little girl, please tell me of your way
I’m very sorry, Mr. Wolf, I’ve a very busy day
Little girl, little girl, please tell me of your name
Little Red Riding Hood and I’ve heard of your fame
It’s good to see that I’m well-known
Please don’t go, I’m all alone
Where are you going? I smell food
I’m sorry Wolf, I didn’t mean to be rude
I’m visiting Granny to give her a loaf of bread
Yes, my darling, make sure she’s well fed
Where does your granny live, my dear?
Just through those trees, the path is clear
Goodbye Wolf, it was a pleasure to meet you
The wolf couldn’t wait to eat the two
As the wolf bounded through the wood
He thought ‘Who should be eaten first? I think granny should’
Approaching the house, he glanced around for Little Red
He opened the door to find Granny knitting in her bed
I’m sure he gave Granny quite a fright
He gulped her down whole, without a bite
Wearing Granny’s clothes, he tucked himself under the sheet
It didn’t quite cover up his furry feet
Then he heard a ‘tap tap tap’
Come in, sit on Granny’s lap
Said wolf, Granny’s voice he mocked
The door was opened, and boy was she shocked!
What large ears!
Helps me hear
What a large snout!
To sniff about
The wolf made a menacing smile
Little Red coughed for his breath was vile
What about my teeth, don’t forget those
Yes they are very sharp I suppose
Why don’t you have a closer look?
‘That’s okay’ Red’s voice shook
But down she went, swallowed whole
Then the wolf’s head began to loll
He was starting to feel very sick
But he saw the bread, and his lips he began to lick
So he gobbled it down
He began to frown
Then up came Granny, up came Red,
Up came the half-chewed loaf of bread
Granny and Red kicked him out,
Slamming the door on his filthy snout
Don’t worry, I’ll get my revenge
Sorry folks, but that’s the end!
